Mental health pledge

Our pledge to mental health.

We at the Drop Pillow truly believe that one of the most effective ways to change the world is for each of us to find our emotional centre. Our mission is to help our customers discover that centre through education and partnership with institutions that support mental health initiatives.

Three promises

We wrote them down so you can hold us to them.

We sell a comfort, not a cure. These are the three commitments we made when we started, kept here in writing.

  1. We give.

[PLEDGE %] of every pillow goes to [PLEDGE PARTNER(S)] — organisations doing direct mental-health and neurodivergent-support work. We publish the total every year, whether it is a good year or a bad one.

  2. We don't overclaim.

No “treats anxiety”. No “cures insomnia”. When people ask whether the Drop Pillow helps with a medical condition, our honest answer is that we haven't tested it properly and won't pretend otherwise. We share what people tell us, in their words, and let you decide.

  3. We design for the people who need it most.

Plain language. No autoplaying sound. No flashing, no countdowns, no shame-worded popups. Every control reachable by keyboard and readable at AA contrast. If something on this site is hard for you, tell us and we will fix it.

Where the money goes

Partners and reporting

We partner with institutions that support mental health initiatives rather than running our own programme. Partner organisations, the percentage of each sale and the annual total are listed here as soon as the agreements are signed.

[PLEDGE %] of every sale goes to [PLEDGE PARTNER(S)]. We publish the total each year, in a good year and a bad one.

Accessibility

Accessibility is part of the pledge, not a compliance chore.

A meaningful share of the people who buy this pillow are neurodivergent, or are shopping for someone who is. That makes the way this site behaves part of the product.

No urgency tactics

No countdown timers, stock counters or exit popups. A relaxation product that makes you anxious to buy it argues against itself.

No sound without consent

Nothing on this site plays audio until you press play, and every film works with the sound off.

Motion you can turn off

We honour prefers-reduced-motion. Set it in your operating system and every transition here stops.
